Pros: no leaks, simple to override

Cons: the manual wasnt that clear on setting up the timers

Its perfect for the job of watering the garden when required, although I cant imagine why anyone would want to set up the timer for 6 different times in a day- but you can if required. The first time I tried setting it up I struggled with setting the days and then the times and duration of watering, had to do it a couple of times to get it exactly right but now I know how to do this its really quick to set up and amend accordingly. THe 30 minute override button is great as it gives us long enough to clean the car with the hose. Purchased my first draper timer last year and was so pleased I have just purchased this one at a very competitive price as a present for my father. He was thrilled and no longer accidentially leaves the water on for hours. Connectors are solid and watertight(that makes a nice change as too oftern water related fixtures & fitings are prone to leaking).
