Useful item
Pros: easy to read scale, springs fairly easy to shorten with basic diy tool
Cons: none of note, springs too long for 15mm pipework
I bought two of these to help with balancing CH system rads. Since they are a universal fitting, I had to shorten the springs on both of them to sensibly cope with 15mm piping. This took about 15 minutes in total.
I cannot comment on their accuracy, but they did provide a more than helpful guide to help adjust lockshield valves and thus balance the system. Just about justify the expense, especially as they have been used on my daughters newly fitted CH system.

Excellent value for money although a little large for use on small bore domestic pipes, particulaly the spring clip which I had to modify to get it to work.
